Current Optics and Photonics (COPP) publishes papers reporting recent advances, state-of-the-art research, and development results in all areas of optical science and technology.
COPP is published six times (February, April, June, August, October, and December) a year. Original contributions in all technical fields of optics such as optical materials, optical devices, optical systems, and/or topics related to theoretical and experimental aspects of new principles are welcome. The language used in manuscripts should be English. Submission of a manuscript indicates that it has not been published previously and is not concurrently submitted for publication elsewhere.
The officially abbreviated journal title is Curr. Opt. Photon. and its acronym is COPP. COPP is open accessible at OSA Publishing and the COPP website.
COPP inherits the tradition of the Journal of the Optical Society of Korea (JOSK) has been published as one of the official journals of the Optical Society of Korea (OSK) since 1997. The official title change from JOSK to COPP was completed in 2017. During the first two years after changing the title(2017~2018), COPP had no IF because the journal did not has a history of articles published under the new journal title. In the third year (2019), separate IFs were calculated for both JOSK and COPP (or COPP may have an Immediacy Index for the third year in place of the IF). From the fourth year (2020), only COPP is maintained in JCR with a proper IF.

This "Privacy Policy" explains the collection, use, and disclosure of "personal information" by Optics and Photonics Congress 2021, hosted by Optical Society of Korea (OSK hereafter), through the Website that OSK operates at osk.or.kr. In accordance to the Information Network Promotion Law revised in February 19, 2016 and legislated to prevent the misuse and abuse of personal information on the Internet, this Privacy Policy also explains our commitment to you with respect to our use and disclosure of the personal information that OSK collects from its members. That commitment is contained in a "Data Usage Policy," below. OSK collects membership information in order to provide better services to its users. By accessing osk.or.kr as your ID, you are accepting and agreeing to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We collect information solely for the purpose of providing services to our members and facilitating our communication with them. We do not collect or use personal information for any other purposes. The personal information provided to us by the members makes it possible for us to deliver, based on it, more useful information selectively.
Emails and Newsletters. We use the personal information you provide to us when you receive our newsletter in order to respond to your request, to reply to your email or to send you communications about news and events related to Optics and Photonics Congress 2021. When you subscribe to our newsletter, your name and email address is sent to and stored Optics and Photonics Congress 2021 (osk.or.kr).
Registered Users. When you register to obtain a user account on osk.or.kr, you may be asked to provide personal information to create your account and establish a password and profile. Providing your email address and/or real name is required. If you do provide your email address, it will allow us to send you your password if you should forget it. When our members visit our site and their web browsers ask for cookies OSK Website restricts its use of cookies only to the information that has no potential to invade their privacy, such as browser version, monitor information, operating system version, and information related to log-in.
OSK has implemented reasonable measures to protect against unauthorized access to and unlawful interception or processing of personal information that OSK stores and controls. However, no website can fully eliminate security risks. We will post a reasonably prominent notice to the Website if any such security breach occurs. User ID has security risks in addition to those described above. Among other things, User ID is vulnerable to DNS attacks, and using ID may increase the risk of phishing.

Non Personal Browsing Information We Collect. No Linking. We do not intentionally link browsing information or information from our server logs to the personal information you submit to us. We use this information for internal purposes only, such as to help understand how the Websites are being used, to improve our Website and the features we provide, and for systems administration purposes.
No Selling or Sharing. Except in the unique situations identified in this Privacy Policy, OSK does not sell or otherwise voluntarily provide the non personal browsing information we collect about you or your website usage to third parties.
No Retention. OSK discards non personal browsing information from our server logs once we have used the information for the limited purposes noted above, under "No Linking."

In addition, Optics and Photonics Congress 2021 may, at any time: (a) modify, suspend or terminate the operation of or access to your user account for any reason; (b) modify or change Website and Services and any applicable Terms and policies governing your user account and related Website Services for any reason; and (c) interrupt user accounts and related Website Services for any reason, all as Optics and Photonics Congress 2021 deems appropriate in its discretion. 한국광학회는 무료로 제공되는 서비스와 관련하여 회원에게 어떠한 손해가 발생하더라도 동 손해가 한국광학회의 중대한 과실에 의한 경우를 제외하고 이에 대하여 책임을 부담하지 아니합니다.
